Hi, I’m James.

Based in North Vancouver, BC, I live with my wife, Rita, and our two kids. Having grown up in different parts of Canada, there isn’t a day that we don’t appreciate the beauty of where we live. When I’m not working with vehicles, you’ll usually find me with my family, out on the winding roads of the West Coast or exploring the outdoors together.

Turn the Deal grew from years of being around the industry and seeing just how many people felt unsure about what to do when it came time to sell. For most, it felt like a hassle at best and a frustrating process at worst. Too many unknowns, too much back and forth, and not enough trust in the people on the other side of it.

With over 15 years in the industry and more than a decade in dealership management, I’ve seen how quickly the market moves and how differently vehicles can be valued depending on where they land. I’ve also seen how overwhelming that can feel for sellers. My goal is to make the wholesale side feel clear and simple.

I’ve always loved cars, but just as much as that, I’ve always loved helping people with them. Whether that means recognizing the value in a vehicle, finding the right path for it, or making the process feel easier from start to finish, it’s all important to me.

The goal here is simple: make selling your vehicle feel straightforward and a lot less stressful. And maybe, just maybe, even a little enjoyable.
